It is possible to change the domain name for an existing website. This is handled one of two ways depending on whether the customer wants to keep the existing domain name or not.
Keep Existing Domain Name
In this case, a new domain name can be added to an existing site and the customer uses the new domain name in its marketing. The old domain name will continue to go to the site as well. This situation does not require that the site be re-installed, although branding changes may be required on the site such as changing the site logo.
Do Not Keep Existing Domain Name
In this case, the site must be re-installed using the new domain name. Branding changes may be required on the site such as changing the logo. Installation charges are required for this option.
