Overview of MarketGrabber Social Network Feeds
MarketGrabber Social Network Feeds can send your listings and articles to Syndication Services that will automatically post your listings and articles to Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites.
This is simple to setup and once setup happens automatically. The following illustration shows how this works:
This support article will use the MarketGrabber Job Board software, DLVRIT.com syndication service and a Facebook business page as an example to illustrate how to setup your Social Network Feeds. The same principles apply to all editions of MarketGrabber and all Syndication services that support Social Network Feeds from your website.
Setup Social Network Feeds MarketGrabber
Login to your MarketGrabber Back Office. Go to Add On Settings. Click on Social Networking Feeds.
Review/Update Settings in your MarketGrabber Site
- Featured Only - you can send all job posting out via your feed or only those marked as Featured.
- Maximum Listings - this is the maximum number of postings that the Syndication Service will retrieve at one time. In the example above, your Syndication Service will receive the 10 most recent job postings each time it receives your feed.
If you have the MarketGrabber Articles Add On installed on your site, you have the same settings for articles.
To update these settings just press the Make Changes button.
Copy Feed URL's from Settings in your MarketGrabber Site
At the bottom of the settings page you will see a set of URL's, each of which need to be copied and entered into your Syndication Service (these are your feeds):
The URL's for these feeds are shown at the bottom of the Social Network Feed Settings page:
Setup Social Network Feeds in DLVRIT.com
Next you will setup your Syndication Service, in this example DLVRIT.com.
Login to your DLVRIT.com account. You will see a page similar to the illustration below.
We will select a Content Source (your site's feeds), set your preferred Post settings and Connect Socials (e.g. Facebook).

Setup Your Feed in DLVRIT.com
On the first screen (shown above) click on Website Feed.
Enter your feed URL in the search box and press the Search Button.
Then press connect.
DLVRIT.com will verify it can connect to your feed and read it.
Press POST SETTINGS:
Setup Auto Posting
We suggest you start with the default settings shown (use the DLVRIT.com help library to learn about all of the options you have available to you) then press CONNECT SOCIALS to hook up your feed to Facebook:
Press the illustrated button:
Choose Facebook and press Connect
You may be asked to login to your Facebook account to verify ownership of your Facebook page.
Then press the Start Posting button illustrated below:
Now DLVRIT.com will automatically read your Job Postings feed and send those job postings to your Facebook business page.
Here is an illustration:
The job posting includes - the source website URL, a logo (if provided on the job posting), the job title, and the first portion of the job description.
Clicking on the job description in your Facebook page will automatically go directly to detailed display page for the job posting on your site:
That's it! You are now setup to send your job postings to your Facebook business page!
To setup articles (if you have the MarketGrabber Articles add-on, follow the same steps as above except using the FEED URL for articles shown in your back office setting for Social Network Feed.
